Apple is gearing up for a major 2026 product launch, and the latest reports suggest the company may reintroduce a high-performance pro iMac. According to MacRumors, Apple is testing an iMac codenamed J833c with the upcoming M5 Max chip, signaling a return to the professional all-in-one desktop segment it exited in 2021 with the discontinuation of the iMac Pro.

The M5 Max iMac is expected to deliver performance on par with a Mac Studio, targeting professional users rather than the standard iMac for home use. The Mac Studio 2024, equipped with the M4 Max 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU, set a high benchmark, and the M5 Max iMac could bring an even greater boost. Pricing details are not yet confirmed, but the original iMac Pro started at ₹4,15,000 in India.

In addition to the pro iMac, Apple may also launch a next-generation Studio Display in 2026. Reports suggest a mini-LED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, potentially powered by the A19 Pro chipset from the iPhone 17 Pro models. The current Studio Display, featuring the A13 Bionic chip, is priced at ₹1,59,900 in India.

Apple’s 2026 product lineup is shaping up to cater to both professional and creative users, combining cutting-edge performance and display technology.
