Regions Bank has teamed up with Koxa, a US-based open banking-powered treasury gateway platform, to launch a new cash flow management solution designed to help business clients better manage their finances.
The new solution, called Regions Embedded ERP Finance, allows businesses to access and review their financial accounts and data in real-time directly within their enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. This feature streamlines the bank's previous processes, which required clients to manually input or upload financial data into their ERP systems.
Currently, the solution integrates with ERP platforms like Oracle NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Sage Intacct, with plans to expand to additional ERP platforms in the future.
The tool is designed to assist businesses in determining appropriate liquidity levels and generating data-driven forecasts, while also helping reduce fraud risks by tracking user IP addresses and timestamps for payments. Regions Bank is also working on adding features that will allow businesses to initiate ACH and wire payments, manage payroll, reimburse expenses, and more.
This launch follows a recent upgrade to Regions Bank’s legacy systems in collaboration with Temenos, and is in line with the rollout of other treasury management products such as CashFlowQ, developed with fintech partner BILL, which focuses on advanced accounts payable and receivable functions.
Regions Bank, a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation, operates more than 1,250 branches and 2,000 ATMs across the southern U.S., Texas, and the Midwest.
