A leading provider of transport-technology solutions, Aurrigo International plc, today announced the launch of a comprehensive international licensing and hub programme to drive rapid global expansion of its autonomous airport systems. The initiative builds on a recent £14.1 million capital raise and aims to deliver locally manufactured and deployed solutions to airports worldwide.

Strategic Expansion via Regional Hubs

Aurrigo plans to establish four principal hubs in key regions: North America (Cincinnati), Southeast Asia (Singapore and Malaysia), the Middle East (Dubai), and Europe (Amsterdam). Each hub will be developed through commercial collaborations or strategic partnerships that combine Aurrigo’s proprietary intellectual property, engineering expertise, and operating knowledge with local partners’ funding, market access, and operational capabilities.

These regional hubs will serve as centers for manufacturing, deployment, commercial development, and client support — enabling the company to bring its Auto-DollyTug®, Auto-Cargo®, Auto-Shuttle® and Auto-Sim® solutions to a broader set of airports and ground-handling operators with improved efficiency and responsiveness.

Why Local Manufacturing Matters

By producing vehicles closer to their end markets, Aurrigo expects to:

  • Reduce trade-barrier impact, tariffs, and long global shipping times,

  • Cut logistics costs and shorten delivery timelines,

  • Align with regional procurement policies and regulatory frameworks,

  • Maintain consistent design and quality through centralized engineering rooted in Coventry.

This strategy also allows Aurrigo to tailor deployments to regional needs while preserving control over core technology and standards.

Coventry HQ Remains Core Engine

While regional hubs will handle local manufacturing and deployment, Aurrigo’s global headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility in Coventry will continue to serve as the central hub for engineering, software development, and initial manufacturing. The upcoming production run includes a much greater number of autonomous vehicles than ever before, intended for early commercial roll-outs with key international clients. These deployments will set the foundation for larger-scale programs and long-term service agreements — acting as the blueprint for future regional hubs.

CEO Statement and Market Outlook

David Keene, CEO of Aurrigo International, commented: “With the completion of our £14.1 million fundraise in September, we now have the financial platform to accelerate our international expansion and rapidly increase the scale of our business. The launch of our hub strategy represents the next step in our long-term vision to become the global leader in airport automation.”

He added that a capital-efficient approach combining regional hubs, local manufacturing and targeted investment positions Aurrigo to capture growing demand for automated solutions from major airports, airlines, and logistics operators worldwide.

Aurrigo already operates subsidiaries in Singapore and North America, providing technical liaison and client support. The planned new hub in Dubai will serve as the regional commercial centre for the Gulf and neighboring markets.
