Regions Bank has unveiled a new cash flow management solution, developed in partnership with Koxa, a US-based open banking-powered treasury gateway platform. The new solution, called Regions Embedded ERP Finance, empowers business clients to access and review financial accounts and data in real-time within their enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
The innovative offering streamlines business operations by eliminating the need for manual data input or uploads into ERP systems, which was previously required in Regions’ legacy treasury management processes. Currently, the solution integrates with platforms like Oracle NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Sage Intacct, with plans to expand to additional ERP platforms in the future.
Beyond improving cash flow management, the tool helps enterprises determine appropriate liquidity levels and generate data-driven forecasts. It also reduces fraud risks by tracking user IP addresses and timestamping payments as they are submitted and approved.
In addition, Regions Bank is working on new features that will enable business clients to initiate ACH and wire payments for vendors, reimburse expenses, manage payroll, and more. This new solution follows Regions' recent efforts to modernize its legacy systems, including a collaboration with Temenos and the launch of other treasury management products like CashFlowQ, developed in partnership with fintech BILL.
Regions Bank, a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation, operates more than 1,250 locations and over 2,000 ATMs across the U.S.
